Synchronising Methods
This section describes ways of synchronising sliders within or between windows. They are intended to facilitate data input in the Sonification and Plot Window.
Release the mouse-button above the paper-clip symbol of the slider you want to be synchronised
Detailed Description
Example: Synchronising sliders within a window
This is an example of how to synchronise sliders in the Sonification Window. If you have multiple data streams appearing in your sonifiation tool you may wish to synchronise the sliders of equal relations (e.g. equal time regions etc.).
To synchronise the sliders click the paper-clip symbol besides the slider you want to be sychronised.
Hold the left-mouse button and release it on the paper-clip symbol of the other slider.
You have to repeat this action for every side of the slider in case of the Slice Mode. You can now shift the edges of one slider, the second one changes its values accordingly.
###Example: Synchronising sliders between two windows
The same actions as described above can be conducted between different windows as for example between the Sonification and Plot Window.
The synchronisation for example between longitude and latitude values corresponds to the zoom-in function in the Plot Window.
